Mohamed’s Story
Mohamed works at the Smart Traffic Center at the UAE Ministry of Interior. Prior to this, he worked as a research assistant at Masdar Institute of Science & Technology in the field of transport and sustainable development. In 2012, along with a group of scientists, he traveled to Bihar, India to address energy and development challenges for more than 2,000 people through Husk Power Systems, which generates electricity using a biomass gasifier that creates fuel from rice husks. He is a member of the Ras Al Khaimah Youth Council, UAE Ministry of Interior’s Innovators Program, Abu Dhabi Global Shaper’s Community and Young Future Energy Leaders program. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Sharjah and two Master’s degrees: Engineering Systems & Management, Masdar Institute and Service Leadership & Innovation, RIT.
